As a sales manager with Chicago Real Estate Leaders, Sergio Garcia draws on many years’ experience in selling foreclosed and REO commercial and residential real estate. When he isn’t working, Sergio Garcia enjoys following the National Hockey League’s (NHL) Chicago Blackhawks.

Through 54 games, the Blackhawks sit last place in the crowded Central Division, but there have been a few bright spots, one of which is rookie Alex DeBrincat. A second-round pick in the 2016 NHL Draft, DeBrincat recorded an impressive 127 points in 63 games in his final season of junior hockey with the Ontario Hockey League’s Erie Otters, but many wondered if he was too small to succeed in the NHL. He’s listed at just 5 feet, 7 inches and 165 pounds. However, he has proven doubters wrong this season, as he has made 34 points, which, as of February 9, ranked sixth in rookie scoring league-wide. Additionally, DeBrincat’s 19 goals ranked third among all rookies behind Brock Boeser and Yanni Gourde.

The highlight of his season came on January 25 during a 5-1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings. DeBrincat, a Michigan native, scored his first career three-goal game while playing alongside Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews and recent acquisition Anthony Duclair.
